Children's Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater Kansas City has a wonderful staff eager to work hard for our local children in need!
Jill Garrard has been the Executive Director for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater Kansas City since 2012. Prior to that, she spent three years working for the Jayhawk Area Council, Boy Scouts of America in Topeka. There, she created and implemented the 20 Under 40 fundraising event and successfully completed a capital campaign to fund renovations to Falley Scout Reservation. Prior to her time with BSA, she spent nine years fundraising for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, planning and implementing local events including the Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon.
A native of Iowa, Jill graduated from the University of Northern Iowa. In June of 2015, she earned her CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) credentials. Jill loves to read and spend time with her husband and two daughters.
Amy has been the Development Manager for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater Kansas City since 2012. Prior to that, she was the Program Coordinator for seven years at the Muscular Dystrophy Associaton in Mooresville, North Carolina. One of the aspects she loves most about working for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals is being able to work with all of the amazing children and families that benefit from CMN funding each year.
Amy graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2000 and has called Kansas City home for the last five years. She enjoys reading, running half marathons and spending time with her husband and two sons.
Katie joined Children's Miracle Network Hospitals of Greater Kansas City in 2017. Previously, she was a Special Events Coordinator for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals at MU Women's & Children's Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Prior to her time with CMN, Katie was a freelance producer/event coordinator for various radio outlets in Nashville, Tennessee.
Katie graduated from William Woods University in 2013 with her Bachelors of Communications in Broadcasting and Public Relations. As a newlywed, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband, her dogs and attending concerts.
Sue began her career at Children's Miracle Network Hospitals as our accountant on March 12, 2012. She says the thing she loves most about working at CMN is being able to see how generous the citizens of Greater Kansas City are and how much their contributions really do help so many local kids.
